My Children

In September of 2004 I got a dog, a West Highland Terrier. I named her Princess Bumbles, but I call her Princess for short. She was born on July 12th, 2004. She's a pure bred and AKC registered dog. She's also a champion troublemaker.

In December of 2005 I added a second child to my home. I got a boy Cairn Terrier and named him Nikko. He was born on October 18, 2005. He's also pure bred and AKC registered. He's also a loud mouth!

My Tats!

The above tat of the wizard was the first one I got, back in May of 2001. The tattoo to the right, of the dragon, I got in September of 2001. I am going to get a third soon, as soon as I make up my mind what and where! All tattoos were done at Olde City Tattoo.

My Piece of History

Okay, so it's not really my piece of history. The guy above is who I was named after, partially. He's Sylvanius Dustin Cushman. He's my great great great something. He invented something called "The Magnetic Telephone" in 1853 (I think). It was phone that reached over a great distance. Needless to say it didn't make my part of the Cushman family rich. To the left is a postcard from him marked 1873 and the stamp cost one whole cent! The postcard is about school or something, I inherited his poor handwriting and eerily I sign my name almost the same way he does.

This is the guy I got my first name, Robert from. This is Reverend Robert Cushman, my great grandfather to the 16th power (I think). He co-organized the Mayflower with John Carver, and later came over on the second ship with his son, Thomas (my brother's name). Thomas married Mary Allerton, who was a passenger on the Mayflower. Robert Cushman helped found the first Puritan Church before returning to England, where he died before he could return to America. His son, Thomas, was the first ruling elder of the church. I have yet to get to Plymouth Colony, but here are some pictures of some monuments to my family there! And for any fans of the NBC soap Passions, members of my family intermarried with the Standishes!
